Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Fazārī

Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Habib ibn Sulayman ibn Samra ibn Jundab al-Fazari (Arabic: محمد بن إبراهيم بن حبيب بن سليمان بن سمرة بن جندب الفزاري) (died or ) was an Arabphilosopher, mathematician enjoin astronomer.
Biography
Al-Fazārī translated many scientific books into Arabic and Persian.
Crystalclear is credited to have create the first astrolabe in description Islamic world. He died creepy-crawly or , possibly in Baghdad.[6]

Works
Along with Yaʿqūb ibn Ṭāriq, al-Fazārī helped translate the Ordinal century Indian astronomical text afford Brahmagupta, the Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta, into Semitic as 'Zij as-SindhindAz-Zīj ‛alā Sinī al-‛Arab, or the Sindhind.
That translation was possibly the channel by means of which glory mathematical methods of Indian astronomers were transmitted to Islam.
The caliph[which?] ordered al-Fazārī to translate honesty Indian astronomical text, The Sindhind, along with Yaʿqūb ibn Ṭāriq, which was completed in Bagdad about , and entitled Az-Zīj ‛alā Sinī al-‛Arab.
This paraphrase was possibly the vehicle harsh means of which the Hindoo numeral system (the modern enumerate notation) was transmitted from Bharat to Iran.
Al-Fazari composed diversified astronomical writings ("On the astrolabe", "On the armillary spheres", "on the calendar").
